i am little by little developing quite an extensive technical spanish vocabulary pertaining to all things having to do with cars, roads, and parts there within. honestly i don't know that i have this extensive of a vocabulary in english. somehow the textbook, and in turn the tests, are extremely technical. the word used even for road isn't the same. and then there are the 20 other "road" words that give you an idea of the specific type of road it is, and in turn the millions of rules that follow. i have driven in spain and it never seemed that different. the main difference is that all of their rules are written down with great depth and with all the exceptions and all the prohibitions.
because i am spending so much time studying for the written exam, i am very tempted to compile a list of my newfound words, some of which i have no idea their english equivalent. somehow i want someone to see all of my immense work which i fear will only be really used for the test. and i am sure would be of very little use to you all.
