smells...

so, it just occurred to me tonight that as of late I have begun to smell things that come from somewhere else in the building. earlier today it was smoke, but now it is a fairly strong mediciney menthol/vicks smell. strange.

i'm not quite sure where it's coming from. i'm guessing it's my neighbor "joseph" (who apparently is awake right now watching a semi-humerous tv call-in show -- of course, sound travels just as well as smell does). but it is a bit strange... i've lived in this apartment (and same bedroom) for almost two years and only now am discovering the ... strange and slightly humorous smells
