Recently there have been various places I have been reminded of the importance and power in being thankful and expressing gratitude to God in whatever situation we may find ourselves. That, in fact, this gratitude ends up turning into joy and is one of the ways God blesses us and gives us the grace we need.

I've been thinking about that and trying to be more conscious of doing so. And the little e-mail I got today from the national office was about: "Gratitude to God." obviously timely. And it is interesting the verses they picked on this. So, here it is:

Gratitude to God - AGRADANDO A DIOS

"These things I have spoken to you, that my joy may be in you, and that your joy may be full." - John 15:11

"Estas cosas os he hablado, para que mi gozo esté en vosotros, y vuestro gozo sea cumplido." - Juan 15:11

"May the God of endurance and encouragement grant you to live in such harmony with one another, in accord with Christ Jesus, that together you may with one voice glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ." - Romans 15:5,6

"Pero el Dios de la paciencia y de la consolación os dé entre vosotros un mismo sentir según Cristo Jesús, para que unánimes, a una voz, glorifiquéis al Dios y Padre de nuestro Señor Jesucristo." - Romanos 15:5,6

"You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body." - 1 Corinthians 6:20

"Porque habéis sido comprados por precio; glorificad, pues, a Dios en vuestro cuerpo y en vuestro espíritu, los cuales son de Dios." - 1ª Corintios 6:20
